We went to the oncologist today. The cancer is all over moms bones throughout her body. She will be doing chemo but it will be a lower dose than the original plan. This all depends on her liver count. Mom begins chemo Wednesday, April 27th. She will be taking two types of chemo. It is called caboplatin & paclitaxel. She will also take hercetin (antibody) in the IV as well. The process will take six hours. After three weeks, the doctor will recheck everything and we’ll see what the plan will be.
Steve and I are praying for you daily. Keep hanging on to all God has promised. He is faithful. I believe!!! "...The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all he has made." Psalm 145:13 I love you so much.

I'm glad progress is starting. I kinda figured that I started getting better the minute the stuff started dripping in! How's that for a strange take on the situation?! I just visualized, while I was stretched out in the recliner, those little nasty cancer creatures taking a big ol drink of that chemo cocktail and shriveling up and going down the drain. Adios, you nasty little mutants! I love you Donna!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I am also glad (oops did i say scared:) to start the drip and I am thinking the same thing.. let's get it done!!! make those suckers die!!!!!
ReplyDeletecould be a long road but i am a die hard racing fan so, pedal to the metal, let's roll!!!!!
Please pray that my liver numbers will be lower by wed, so that it will be able to handle the chemo...
I am hanging onto Hope, Faith and God's promises!! i Believe!!!!
